Introduction:
Lavan Bhaskar churn is an Ayurvedic prescribed drug made from several
herbs and different types of salts. It is available in powder form and
primarily intended as a remedy for digestive issues. It improves appetite,
controls abdominal problems, and restricts gas formation in the intestines.
What it means:
Lavan means salt. The primary ingredients of the product are Sochal
salts and black salts. the product is also referred to as Bhaskar Lavan Churna,
Lavan Bhaskar Churna.
Lavan Bhaskar churn uses:
It works as an appetizer. It controls the Vata and Kapha Doshas in the
human alimentary canal, prevents gas formation, decreases abdominal pain, and
enables easy defecation.
Indications:
Gas, bloating of stomach, breathing issues, piles, constipation, cold,
cough, indigestion, stomach pain, respiratory issues, spleen enlargement,
fistula, rheumatism, flatulence, loss of appetite, etc.
Dosage:
It can be consumed twice a day either with water or buttermilk before or
after food. It is recommended for adults to take 2 to 3 grams and for children
1 to 2 grams. However, it is advisable to take the dosage as per the advice of
an Ayurvedic physician.

recommended. It is considered safe for lactating mothers. No adverse reports
have been reported with its use by mothers who are breastfeeding.
However, because of the high content of salt, it can cause an increase
in the sodium intake. Overdose of the product can cause burning sensations and
stomach irritation. People with kidney ailments and hyperacidity problems must
consume it only after consulting their doctor.
